The KF range of Multibay filters

The KF range of modular, fibreglass multibay filters represent one of the most cost effective and simple ways of providing 'proper' Koi Pond filtration. Three of the model range come with integrated Vortexes appropriately sized for the water flow and filter capacity and all can be supplied for pumped filter configurations, or for gravity filter configurations. They can also be supplied complete with media in a ready to go form, or can be supplied empty for the owner to install and use whichever filter media is preferred. They are comparatively light and very strong, and most models are supplied with waste valves and inlet and outlet ports of the appropriate size.

KF5000 Multibay Filter with Vortex

The KF5000 (right) is a high quality, free-standing, fibreglass, four bay, filter with vortex. Its multi chamber design with integral Vortex ensures maximum filtration with the minimum of maintenance. The unit is suitable for fish ponds of up to 4000 litres and a maximum flow rate of 3000 litres ph. The integral Vortex enhances the unit's performance and reduces the maintenance intervals. It is suitable for Pump or Gravity feed. Fitted with 3” inlet and 2” outlet. The unit is supplied with or without media (see right)

KF8000 Multibay Filter

The KF8000 (right) is a high quality, free-standing, fibreglass, three bay filter. Its multi chamber design ensures maximum biological filtration with the minimum of maintenance. The unit is suitable for fish ponds of up to 8000 litres and a maximum flow rate of 6000 litres per hour. This filter is supplied in two variants for pumped or gravity fed systems. The unit can be supplied with or without media (see right).

Media: flocor, blue matting cartridge and brushes.

The 8000 gravity range can be fitted to Pre-filters such as Vortexes or Sieves very easily

KF10000 Multibay Filter with Vortex

The KF10000 is a high quality, free-standing, fibreglass, four bay, filter with integral vortex. Its multi chamber design ensures maximum filtration with the minimum of maintenance. The unit is suitable for fish ponds of up to 10,000 litres and a maximum flow rate of 6,000 litres ph. However, with lighter stocking densities the KF10000 will comfortably cope with larger volumes. The integral Vortex enhances the unit's performance and reduces the maintenance intervals

Bay 1 Eight 16" long x 8" diameter polypropylene filter brushes. Bay 2 Blue matting - This is an excellent filter media as it has excellent bio-mass retention and its open texture removes larger particles from the water.
Bay 3 Six layers of sponge with varying layers of porosity, two large foam blocks and a layer of Flocor.
Bay 4 Filled with Flocor.

The pump fed model has a 4" inlet and outlet while the gravity fed model has a 4" inlet and 1.5" outlet.

KF18000 Multibay Filter with Vortex

The KF18000 is the largest integrated model in the range. It is a large high quality, free-standing, fibreglass, four bay, filter with integral vortex. Its multi chamber design ensures maximum filtration with the minimum of maintenance. The unit is suitable for fish ponds of up to 18,000 litres and a maximum flow rate of 11,000 litres ph. However, with lighter stocking densities the KF18000 will comfortably cope with larger volumes. The integral Vortex enhances the unit's performance and reduces the maintenance intervals.

Bay 1 Eighteen 16" long x 8" diameter polypropylene filter brushes.
Bay 2 Blue matting - This is an excellent filter media as it has excellent bio-mass retention and its open texture removes larger particles from the water.
Bay 3 Three layers of reticulated foam with different densities. These sit on top of a layer of approximately 2 cubic ft of Flocor.
Bay 4 Six way foam block manifold assembly on top of a layer of 6 cubic ft of Flocor.
