Our policy is to provide a free delivery service on orders over £100 pounds to Mainland England, Wales and Scottish lowland destinations..  Exceptions to this policy relate to particular post codes (see below) for Scottish Highlands and Islands and for other offshore destinations.. We regret that we are unable to provide this free delivery service for certain goods,  such as certain filter systems and other bulky or very heavy items, or ANY items over 1.5 metres in length, where substantial surcharges are levied by the carriers.. Where these exceptions occur the charges will be shown against each item. or will be confirmed to you in an acknowledging email.  Even when we are forced to levy these carriage charges, these are subsidised  so that we can keep them to an absolute minimum. Exceptional carriage charges will not appear in the shopping cart when you checkout, but will be confirmed to you by return mail before we process your order.

For orders under £100, where carriage charges are made, these are normally calculated by weight.  Some goods however may be subject to volume carriage charges (for example pipe work in 3 metre lengths ) and some may be surcharged because of the particular item, for example UV bulbs which are very fragile and need special consideration when shipping to ensure they arrive safely.  Wherever possible these items will be marked accordingly. 

When you place orders through the shopping cart, the software will calculate the carriage payable for the order and display this when you checkout. Should any surcharge need to be made , you will receive a confirmation email when we receive your order to  confirm any additional carriage costs that may be incurred.

Dry goods under 2kgs in weight are  normally shipped by Parcel Force, and are based on standard delivery schedules of 3 - 5 days.  All such deliveries are charged at cost at Parcel Forces current rates. Where these charges differ from carriage charges shown on your order, and calculated via the shopping cart, you will be notified by email, to confirm the actual amount.  All other goods over 2kg are normally despatched by next day Courier services, and calculated charges shown in your shopping cart will reflect these methods
